On June 27-28, Mr. Kelly Smith, Executive Vice President of Murdoch University in Australia, Professor Parisa Bahari, Executive Vice President and Director of the Engineering Department, and Mr. Sun Haosong, Business Development Manager of the International Department, visited SIE. President Wang Guohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Fang Hongzhi, and Vice President Wang Qimin received the visitors. On the morning of the 27th, SIE held a welcome ceremony and work talks in the conference room 319 of the campus. Both sides reviewed an 18-year friendly cooperation process and fruitful achievements between the two schools since 2006, and focused on in-depth exchanges of opinions on master's level cooperative education, "3+1+1" credit mutual recognition master's cooperation projects, teacher and student exchanges, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the National University Science and Technology Park of SIE, the Comprehensive Smart Energy Management Platform of the National Energy Investment Group, the New Power System Training Base, and the Wind Power Centralized Control Center of Guodian and Wind Liaoning Company. During the visit, the delegation had discussions with students from SIE.
The visit of the delegation from Murdoch University has further enhanced mutual trust between the two universities, consolidated the foundation of cooperation, and taken a solid step towards deepening and solidifying friendly cooperation.
