Electrical Engineering and Automation (Bachelor of Engineering)

-National first-class major

-To serve the energy and electric power industry and electric power equipment manufacturing industry, the target of this program is to(or the program aims to) cultivate applied engineering and technical talents who master the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills in the field of electrical engineering with strong engineering practice ability and innovation consciousness. It includes several professional modules such as power system operation and regulation, operation and maintenance, planning and design, etc., mainly studying Circuit, Analog Electronic Technology, Motor Science, Power System Analysis, Electrical Part of Power Plant, Power System Relay Protection, Power System Automation, High Voltage Technology ,etc..Graduates are mainly engaged in electrical engineering positions such as power grid operation, intelligent manufacturing and technology research and development design.


Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control (Bachelor of Engineering)

-First batch of pilot majors for application-oriented transformation of colleges and universities

-Provincial first-class undergraduate education demonstration major

-This program includes professional basic module, operation and inspection ability module, intelligent control ability module, intelligent electrical equipment development ability module, professional comprehensive application ability module, and builds up a complete engineering practice environment to cultivate students' strong engineering practice ability and innovation consciousness. It aims to cultivate senior application-oriented engineering and technical talents for the power industry and equipment manufacturing industry. The main courses include Circuit, Analog Electronic Technology,Motor and Drive, Automatic Control Principle, Power System Steady State Analysis, Power System Transient Analysis,Electrical Control Technology, Intelligent Electrical Equipment, High Voltage Technology, Power System Relay Protection, Power System Intelligent Control and other theoretical courses; the training courses include Motor Test Simulation Design, Power Plant Electrical Operation Training, Relay Protection Comprehensive Training, Smart Grid Full Digital Simulation Training, Smart Substation Control Training, Intelligent Electrical Control Training, etc. Graduates are engaged in system operation and intelligent control, inspection and control, automatic inspection and information processing, installation and commissioning, management and maintenance, technology research and development and engineering services in the field of electrical engineering for the power industry, equipment manufacturing industry and related electrical engineering industries.


Intelligent Power Grid Information Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering)

The major of Intelligent Power Grid Information Engineering is an emerging interdisciplinary program established in response to the national demand for developing strategic emerging industries and closely aligned with the construction of China's smart power grids.
This major aims to cultivate application-oriented engineering and technical talents who possess a theoretical foundation in electrical engineering and information engineering, master power system communication technologies as well as information acquisition and processing techniques, keep abreast of the development trends in the power industry, renewable energy power generation and smart power grids, and demonstrate strong engineering practical capabilities and innovative awareness.
The core curriculum for students includes professional courses such as Circuit Theory, Analog Electronic Technology, Principles of Automatic Control, Electrical Machinery, Signals and Systems, Principles of Communication, Power System Analysis, Electrical Equipment of Power Plants, High Voltage Technology, Power System Relay Protection, and Smart Grid Communication Technology.Students who complete the required coursework and meet the academic degree requirements will be awarded the Bachelor of Engineering degree.Graduates are primarily employed in sectors including the power industry, electrical intelligent equipment manufacturing industry, and research institutes. They engage in work such as product design, R&D, system operation and maintenance, and technical support.
