On March 20th, Meng Xiaoyu, the International Affairs Manager of Red River College Polytechnic in Canada, visited our school. Wang Qiang, the Party Secretary of our school, met with the visiting guests in Room 320 of the school administration building. Relevant personnel from the Party and Government Office and Red River International College participated in the meeting.
Wang Qiang first extended a welcome to Meng Xiaoyu for his visit again, sent greetings to President Fred who was far away in Canada, and exchanged the measures our school had taken in deepening the cooperative education over the past year. Meng Xiaoyu introduced the progress of the cooperation in running schools by the Canadian side, and handed over a thank-you letter from Fred to Secretary Wang Qiang and President Wang Guohui. He said that the Canadian side attached great importance to the friendly cooperative relationship with Shenyang Institute of Engineering and was willing to provide support for the high-quality cooperative education and sustainable development of the two schools. Wang Qiang highly commended Fred's efforts in implementing and promoting the resolutions of the Joint Management Committee, and asked Meng Xiaoyu to forward the reply letter of our school. The two sides also had in-depth exchanges on continuing to expand the cooperation areas and developing teacher-student exchange programs. After the meeting, Meng Xiaoyu held talks with the teachers and students of Honghe International College on specific cooperation matters such as teacher training and teacher-student exchanges.
