On July 22, the closing ceremony of the Ufa University of Science and Technology Teachers' Summer Research Camp was held in Conference Room 319 of the Administration Building. Vice President Wang Qimin of SIE, Vice President Iuliia of Ufa University of Science and Technology, and all members of the research camp attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, both sides reviewed the two-week research activities. Vice President Wang Qimin emphasized that the camp further strengthened the strategic partnership between the two universities, noting that the professional competence and their appreciation of Chinese culture laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Vice President Iuliia expressed heartfelt gratitude for the meticulous arrangements and warm hospitality, highly praising the achievements of the research camp. The teachers from Ufa University of Science and Technology also shared their gains and insights from the program.
The research camp featured a diverse range of activities. The visiting teachers toured key laboratories on campus, participated in the Sino-Russian Cultural Festival, attended Chinese language classes, and engaged in cultural experience courses such as Chinese paper-cutting, knot tying, dough sculpting, calligraphy, and Baduanjin exercises. They also visited cultural landmarks in Shenyang, Dalian, and Dandong, inspected the Shenyang Advanced Manufacturing Park, and conducted an in-depth field study at Shenyang Hengjiu Antai Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation Technology Co., Ltd. During the camp, the two universities held multiple rounds of discussions on scientific research collaboration, the development of new joint educational programs, and the quality improvement of existing cooperative projects. An agreement was signed to implement additional online educational courses jointly.
The successful hosting of the research camp not only deepened the understanding of Ufa teachers regarding Chinese culture and our university’s distinctive educational characteristics but also strengthened the friendship between the two institutions. Moreover, it explored practical pathways for further in-depth cooperation between the two universities.
